Jones strengthens the city's infrastructure

Since being named the city of Russellville's public works director and city engineer, Kurt Jones has been using his foundation of civil engineering to strengthen the infrastructure of his hometown. Jones graduated from Russellville High School and attended Arkansas Tech University before transferring to the University of Arkansas and earning his bachelor's degree in civil engineering.

WALNUT RIDGE, AR - A Pocahontas woman was sentenced to spend seven years in prison in connection to the death of a Walnut Ridge woman. According to Lawrence County Circuit Court, Andrea Spradling, 34, was also given a 10-year suspended sentence and ordered to pay court costs.

LAWRENCE COUNTY, AR - The Third Judicial District Drug Task Force announced 2 arrests in separate drug cases in Lawrence County. According to a news release from Prosecuting Attorney Henry Boyce, the 2 cases involved men being arrested for meth and other charges.
